At the Bayside Expo Center on Saturday, July 13, there will be a show from 10am - 7pm. When can you all go? I'm working after 4:30pm, so I'd need to go before then. UNLESS you're all going late, in which case I can change my work hours. www.importxpression.com

I didn't, but I did go to a little event out past Brookline that was basically a car show of MICROcars on sunday. Some of the cars included MINI Coopers, both the originals and the new one, some Meserschmitt Tigers, uhm...BMW Isettas (which if you don't know what they are, think back to the days of when Urkel had a 3 wheel car and that's it)...any way, it was a blast and there were tons of comically small microcars.

Lotsa rice rockets, lotsa Asian models. They were also mixing some music. It was... different. I'm not into the import scene. There was the random Ferrari and Lamborghini, but most cars were Asian. Some of the girls were hot, but I'm not into Asians, personal preference. I got these 3 girls to give me hugs, that was cool. There was a PHAT MR2 Spyder with a body kit. Even a Miata looked masculine (well, other than being colored yellow). Lots of clear taillights and tailpipes that you could lose small children in. Lancer Evolution IV and VI. Race cars and groups of kids in clubs. Models. Models. No cameras to buy so I could take pictures of cars and me groping models. People selling stuff. Eh, that's the gist of it. Go to www.importxpression.com. They have a TON of pictures from shows in the Gallery section. Many are worth checking out. But, again, I wasn't into all the neon colored stock cars that just had a flat model hanging over it.

Oh, it was $20 to get in, and they were charging to park! We parking elsewhere; I dunno how much they soaked you to be up close. They also had some "after hours club" at the Avalon. Fuckin weird. And they had a bikini contest (which I missed, dammit!) and other stuff totally unrelated to cars.
