Good luck, with just making a down payment ;D they're not as expensive as you think. While an official Caterham Super 7 will set you back anywhere from $30-40k, there are also other companies that make Super 7s, you can get a fully assembled one for $25-30k, or save even more, if you put it together yourself. (it arives from overseas in a couple of big crates, that you pick up from the airport) And it weighs 600 lbs less than a miata

I'm not too into the way it looks either. The headlights look very out of place to me, and I think the wheelwells could've been blended into the car better. Spend $32k and get a Honda S2000

Here's a picture of it with different fenders and there's no way I'd get an S2k. The Super 7 has FAR more character, looks better, and is worlds faster.

Um the s2k can be driven reliably every day, comes with a warranty, practical use, and I'd hate to need a replacemaent part for that one. Yeah, um, pepboys, I need front shocks and a left bearing for a caterham super 7?
