Where should I start?
I'm in the middle of ditching my porno red interior for an interior out of an '90GT (i parted the car out after stripping the interior and MADE money!)
All that's left to do is swap the dash and this project is done
Next is I am wiring an electric fan from a '95 V6 Mustang in (got it for free). I did a good job on this too. Wired is with a 3-position On-Off-Auto switch with the autop position working off the A/C and a 180* VW Sirrocco fan switch. Half the wiring is in, and i should have it done next weekend.
Cobra Intake, 65mm Explorer Throttle body. I think i'll install these over spring break. i need to modify the Explorer TB a bit to get it to work. But it's worth it for the price I paid for it (free!).
'97 Cobra rims and SN95 5-lug 4-wheel disk swap.
Not that I need it, but Fox brakes really suck! I do a lot of highway traveling and they just suck in panic attacks. I consider this more of a SAFETY mod. Oh yeah, i paid $250 for the Cobra rims. Most likely I'll swap on the old 10-hole rims and sell off the pony rims for some quick cash (i know they will go fast) to help with the swap. Oh yeah, goal is to do a junkyard 96-98 Cobra brake setup for under $500. We shall see
Change exhaust. Traded a few parts away in return for a High-flow H-pipe and some flowmaster mufflers. I'm sick of the off-road/MAC setup. I have a BAD exhaust leak too and it's pissing me off. I'll prob sell the off-road pipe.
Remove FMS C springs and put stockers back in. Ride is too rough and I hate it. Sell off C springs
FInally, ditch the AOD and stick the 5-spd in. Those parts are getting pretty dusty in my basement. I bought all the parts minus the T-5 for $50
And that's it. Seems like a lot of work. That is all. If you notice, i haven't spent much money on these parts (or i mae some money off a few). But it's ok, my car is my hobby and i feel relaxed when I work on it. Hopefully i can get this all done before our next meet!
