I just received my rims from eBay and the order from tirerack for my tires is on its way. I need to find a good shop in the area that'll give me a good deal on the mount & balance with metal air valves.
NTB in Woburn quoted me at roughly $108 (and I'm still not sure if I can use my existing lug nuts--that may end up costing me more). If anyone has a suggestion for a place, or knows a guy who "knows a guy" or something, let me know. I'd like to get as reasonable a price on this as I can, thanks!

Try your dealership maybe. In the low $100's will be what you'll get mostly because you didn't buy the rims or tires from them. I paid the same price at Hogan Tire down the street from NTB.

Ok, if I haven't stated this before I'd like to do it now; Bonnell Ford in Winchester, MA fucking rules. They've taken care of two separate insurance claims of mine with aplomb and now they are going to mount and balance my tires for only $40.
I would definitely recomend them to anyone.
Depending upon what time UPS decides to deliver my tires, I may have the new wheels on tomorrow ;D

So are we going to see these new wheels and tires on April 28 (Mustangs Unlimited Stampeede). It will actually be pretty cool to put a face with people usernames.

I hope to have these wheels/tires on tomorrow. I had more trouble with my stock passenger-front tire last night--third time it's gone flat in two weeks. The shop opens up at 7am, but I doubt I'll be able to convince my Chevy Blazer-driving buddy to get up that early for my sorry ass and tires. There's no way the rims and tires will fit inside the Mustang. But I hope to get it done early in the morning anyway. So yes, those rims will be on for the stampede and it'll be fun to see some faces. I seem to recall someone being a no-show for the first BSCC meet, who could that have been? A red 99 Cobra driver, if I'm not mistaken; but we have so many of those folks it is difficult to keep them straight

Ya, you caught I was one the no-shows last summer. But you can count on seeing me the 28th for the stampeed. Make sure you use the 30/30 rule for the new tires. 30 Feet or 30 Seconds (which ever you choose) of spining and they are broken in. That how I broke in the new gears. ;D
